Election Fraud Which Destroyed A Citizen’s Quest
For Public Office In Las Vegas, New Mexico
As many of us loyal Americans have learned the hard way, America is no longer a free Nation because, in part, of the enormous corruption, fraud, “business as usual” and inside dealings perpetrated upon the People of this Nation, to their detriment, by the very politicians the People elect, or, in theory, elect, to theoretically serve the People. Las Vegas, New Mexico, located in the “Land of Enchantment”, or, in the unfortunate reality, the Land of the Patron and the peon, is very much part of the fraud and corruption that erodes and kills the very heart and soul of America and its People. From the very inception of Las Vegas, its Citizens have been badly abused, deceived, cheated, mistreated and discarded by their own governments - territorial, federal, state and local!
The greater American People have also been lied to and cheated by their own governments - local, state and federal! It is imperative that these criminal activities STOP, immediately, and that the People regain their inherent POWERS, quickly, or nothing will be left for our children and grandchildren, except absolute and total governmental control of their lives, and everything else that was once important in our country will be gone. One woman tried to make lasting and beneficial changes for Las Vegas and its People. This tells her story and intent which was quickly eradicated by the very same fraudulent government she tried to Constitutionally change and correct for the benefit of the People. Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? In today’s America, it appears that no good deed goes unpunished, and the People passively support that punishment because they do nothing to prevent it. We are either part of the solution or part of the problem.
This once great Nation of Freedom and Independence for the People has become, through the masterful and surreptitious planning of our evil controllers, a Nation of quiet, carefully structured, deliberately imposed slavery, by and through economic control and suppression, unbridled corporatism, or fascism, banking and money interests to suit the insatiable and unending perverted demands of the ruling classes, wherever their power bases may be located, and the absolute rule by these elite, protected at all levels by corporate police and military force, institutions of all types, governments in all forms, and corporate courts. What is left for the average American Citizen? Sadly, the American People have let this happen, primarily, because they did not get or stay involved in the scrutiny of their governments and trusted those for whom they thought they voted. What catastrophic mistakes! This is a tragic loss for America, itself, its People, and the greater world, which looked up to America as their hope and the shining beacon of justice and freedom for a very tired, weary and worn out human race, much of which is under some form of oppression, due largely to the horrendous hegemonic foreign policy conducted by the U.S. government as the enforcers for the ruling elite. This loss will continue, unless the People truly and quickly realize that because of their ignorance, indifference or unjustified arrogance, their freedoms are virtually gone in America. The ONLY way to correct this is for them to take lawful steps to retrieve their STOLEN RIGHTS from the grasping clutches of the unbelievably greedy, tyrannical and diabolical governments, and the private interests they serve.
The ever encroaching and widening, rancid, festering pus oozing out of the carnage caused by corrupt politics is virtually everywhere in this Nation. Corrupt politics is an odious cesspool, which eventually harms all of us in some manner if allowed to continue. Just as toxic and nuclear waste sickens and weakens us, individually, and as a Society, so does the toxicity of corrupt politics. If we accept this bile spewed out by the very politicians who were elected by the People to serve the People, then, “We, the People”, are at fault. Governmental and corporate fraud and corruption destroys our individuality and our Society, our individual and collective power, our personal and national character and integrity, and undermines our American spirit; yet America, as a society, has quietly succumbed to the power and might of the BULLY and the local political MAFIA, without so much as a whimper. The vast majority of Americans pose few, if any, questions or challenges, because they fear the wrath and vengeance of the bully, if they try to stand up to and correct the wrong. This is not how the Creator designed us nor is this what our Founding Fathers established for us over 230 years ago. Governmental fraud and corruption stifle everything we do, make it hard to breathe, put us into fear, threaten our livelihood and cost us enormous sums of money we cannot afford. It is never too late to take effective action against this most pernicious cancer. America and the People of Las Vegas, New Mexico, need your help and support to restore Constitutional governance to America, starting one community at a time. That lawful battle has already started here. Will you help to continue it?
Las Vegas city politics is rife with legendary fraud, just as are the politics of virtually all cities, towns, counties, states and national politics all over America. In fact, Las Vegas is a microcosm of the macrocosm. Do you really think that your community is different? However, if the People have enough concern for Las Vegas and their own communities, their families and their children, the People have the power to stop that fraud and corruption, cold! This requires a commitment to making not only “differences”, but also lasting changes, and the courage to carry through. If enough People in each community were to do this, then the beginnings of restoration of Rights could take root and the Peoples’ long silent voice could be loudly raised and heard, once more. Please take a look at this story of one woman who tried to help the People of Las Vegas, and what the fraudulent, corrupt politicians there did to stop her from ever retaining office, even had she won. Remember, what happened to her, could happen to anyone at any time in any community. If what took place raises your hackles and makes you angry, we ask you to support her in her efforts to correct this injustice for the benefit of the People, permanently.
At the request of many people in this city, Margaret Edwards Flynn ran for city council in the last Las Vegas, New Mexico, city election, held March 2006. Margy, as she is known to her friends, is an avid supporter of the People and their Rights guaranteed in the federal and state Constitutions. She is also a strict Constitutionalist who has helped many people in New Mexico, as well as many Citizens in other states, and who campaigned for restoration of Constitutional governance to Las Vegas. Based upon her support base, Margy’s support for the People and her strong Constitutional positions, which would benefit this city and ALL of its People, it looked as though Margy was in an excellent position to win. However, it seems that the entrenched political powers, who feared Margy’s well known Constitutional positions, had something else in mind to sabotage her Constitutional and egalitarian views and intentions.
In this country, we are, in theory, guaranteed the Right to vote and that vote should be correctly counted and never set aside by government. The candidate elected by the People should be the same one who serves in office. Believe it or not, MOST average People in America are HONEST, and naively expect honesty from others, including public officers in charge of elections. The American People should be able to expect honesty from their federal, state and local governments, but, unfortunately, that is not the way in which things work in America today, especially when it comes to honesty in and during elections. There are multitudinous questions regarding the accuracy and manipulation of computerized voting machines which cast real doubt upon the real winners of the past two presidential elections, and make suspect the real winners of the recent Democratic and Republican primaries. Since most Americans are honest, they, naturally, would like to see their candidates honestly elected, but most of them would not want their candidates to win through deception, fraud and cheating. However, in today’s America, that appears to be the accepted current political status quo.
What the city did to cheat Margy out of the race is explained in the articles, which follow, so there is no need to present that here. Margy and her husband, Jack Flynn, co-founders of Citizens of the American Constitution, teach the Constitution and Peoples’ Rights guaranteed therein, in seminars, workshops and lectures all over America, and appear on national radio programs, and, sometimes, on television. They believe in, support and demonstrate the Constitution, its power, and how it can be properly utilized, as intended by the Founding Fathers, to restrict the LIMITED, delegated Power of government and to protect the Rights of the People. Their group has been very successful in winning many cases in New Mexico courts over the past eight years. It is obvious that Margy’s Right to run in a fair election and the Rights of the People of Las Vegas to have a fair election were violated by the city officers and politicians, so she filed suit against the machinery of government of the City of Las Vegas, as well as other individuals who upheld the city’s fraud, including the city’s insurers, the New Mexico Self-Insurers Fund and the New Mexico Municipal League. When you have read all about this matter, if you support Margy, we ask you to write or email those entities named and express your candid opinions over this unjust, outrageous governmental fraud.
For your consideration, presented below is a Special Newsletter recently sent to Jack and Margy’s newsletter subscribers and support base, which contains a news article, recently submitted to local newspapers. The details of Margy’s election experiences are contained therein. What Margy has done here to address wrongs committed by government is, thus far, all too rare among the American People. However, Margy has personally won several cases in New Mexico courts and has the courage and tenacity to follow through, when her Rights or the Rights of her fellow Citizens have been stolen right before their eyes. What she has done can be done by nearly any Citizen in this country who possesses the same attributes of courage and determination to redress governmental wrongs, as Margy has done.

As some of you, our friends and supporters may know, Margy filed her case against individuals who work for the machinery of government of the City of Las Vegas, New Mexico, and individuals who work for their insurer, and the insurer, itself. All of the defendants have been recently served, so this case will begin to move forward. As a point of interest, when Margy originally went to the court clerk’s office for the summons forms, she was given the incorrect form, on two separate occasions. With the massive Constitutional and lawful positions at stake, do any of you think that this might have been an honest mistake? With the fact that Margy was an avowed Constitutional candidate who ran for city council, with incorrect information supplied to Margy by the city clerk, do you think the clerk made an honest mistake when she gave Margy that incorrect information? When in doubt, follow the benefit.
As you know, governments and government officers/employees in America, federal, state and local, are required by Constitutional mandates to abide by their oaths in the performance of their official duties, and to uphold the Constitutions and Rights guaranteed therein, to the People. Pursuant to Article IV, Section 4 of the federal Constitution, governments are required to be republican forms of government. Yet they operate as corporations, and exclusive, exclusionary corporations for the benefit of the corporate officers and shareholders, which exclude the People, for whom they theoretically work. How many people, as Citizens, or groups you know have taken any effective lawful action against this open fraud perpetrated upon the People? We know of NONE. That does not bode well for Citizens living in a “free” country. As some of you know, Freedom is not free. We must earn it, and America, as a society, has earned nothing but the disrespect and disdain of its leaders who are Constitutionally required to serve us, but since the Citizens demand and enforce nothing, these evil criminals serve only themselves and their true masters. By now, you should be sick to death of this governmental fraud and the overwhelming malaise of the American society to let it flourish, without objection, challenges or questions from the People. It is well past the time for you to do what you can about it, because the average guy, unless he reaches some type of abnormal, atypical epiphany, will do nothing, except serve his masters
Because the People, again, as a society, have failed to demand and refused to enforce their Rights before government, government, as the natural enemy of the People, as its normal custom, practice and policy denies those Rights, as a normal course of business. There are exceptions to this rule, and many of those exceptions are you, the Patriots who have attended our seminars and who have followed our methods based in the Constitution. Thank God for you who are using the Constitution and enforcing your Rights, because without you, there would be little, if any, Constitutional opposition to unconstitutional governments in this “free” Nation.
Because of the nature of government and its standard opposition to the Constitution and to the People, we do not know, for certain, how Margy’s case will be decided. We do know, that for all intents and purposes, she has already won it. Why? Because she won the initial case when the city filed court action to remove her from the city council race for the city’s own “mistake”, to which “mistake” the city admitted. We also know that Margy sent numerous letters and affidavits to all city officers who had the power and the duty to investigate, correct and stop this fraud, and hold those who committed it liable for their actions. City officers and officials did not even respond to Margy, in any way, whatsoever, and engaged in a conspiracy of silence. Thus, they admitted to ALL of Margy’s statements, allegations and charges, fully binding upon them in any court, without their protest, objection, or that of those who represent them.
Below is an article that Margy sent to one of the local newspapers concerning this case. She has spoken to other newspapers who may also do a story on this outrageous fraud conducted by government during an election. For the People’s benefit and that of America, we want to create massive publicity for this case not only in New Mexico, but everywhere across this Nation. People must know about government protected election fraud and must take action against it, or all elections will be decided by the corrupted who support only evil. It is well past the time for Good to BEGIN to oppose evil. Please read the article for your own take. You can also write emails to Las Vegas city government and Bill Richardson, the governor, to express your opinion, or outrage, at such governmental fraud, condoned by government officers, pursuant to their oaths, of course. The Right to vote and the Right to run for elective office and maintain that office, if elected, are Rights guaranteed in the Constitutions to all Americans. Yet, despite those guaranteed Rights, politicians and public officers, who theoretically work for and represent the People of Las Vegas, denied these Rights to Margaret Edwards Flynn, when she ran for city council in the 2006 Las Vegas municipal election. Not only were these Rights denied to her, they were denied to the People of Las Vegas. Margy, as she is known to her friends, is a supporter of the People and their Rights, and has worked tirelessly on their behalf, for many, many years, not only in Las Vegas, but also all over this Nation.
When Margy decided to run for city council, Cheryl Yara, the city clerk, gave Margy the wrong information, on two occasions, one of which was before a witness, concerning the correct ward in which Margy lives. Margy’s home is located exactly on the boundary line between wards one and two. Margy believed that she lived in ward one, since her then city councilor was the councilor from ward one, but Yara insisted that Margy lived in ward two and must declare her candidacy for city council from ward two. Due to the fact that Citizens should be able to rely upon the city clerk to give them correct information, based upon what Yara stated to her and her witness, Margy declared her candidacy in ward two.
Margy appeared at numerous election forums and spoke as a candidate from ward two, with no challenge from anyone. She would have preferred to run in ward one, because she is well known in ward one and there were five other candidates running in that ward, so her chances for success would have been greater. The ward two race had two popular, well-known local candidates, and Margy was not well known in ward two. After the ballots were printed, a city worker showed up on Margy’s doorstep, with a summons and petition from the city challenging her candidacy and seeking her removal from the race, claiming she had declared in the wrong ward. The fact that Yara gave her the wrong information was not mentioned in the city’s petition; yet the city admitted that it had made a mistake in certifying Margy in the wrong ward. The summons and petition required Margy to appear in court in forty-two hours.
The city’s position was both absurd and ridiculous, as well as blatantly unfair, with no lawful standing for its claim, since the city admitted that it had incorrectly certified Margy in the wrong ward; yet petitioned the court to remove Margy from the race and hold her liable for the city’s mistake. This is not the way government is supposed to treat its own People; yet, it happens every day, all the time, all across America.
Yara, the city clerk, who gave Margy the wrong information, under questioning from the presiding judge during the hearing on the city’s petition, admitted in open court that she knew the location of the boundaries between wards one and two. Her admission demonstrates that she knowingly, and with intent, gave incorrect information to Margy, but the real question is why did she do so? Had it been an honest mistake, to which Yara had admitted and expressed regret, then, Margy would have accepted it, and that would have been the end of the matter. However, although Yara refused to admit to giving Margy wrong information, her admission in open court that she knew the difference between wards one and two boundaries sealed the city’s fate, and the presiding judge found in Margy’s favor.
Although Margy prevailed in court and the city lost, due to Yara’s incorrect certification and the fact that the city did not raise the issue until after ballots had been printed, Margy was forced to run from the wrong ward. It was brought up during the court proceeding that even if Margy were to win, she would most likely be challenged, by both the city and the other candidates, because of Yara’s incorrect certification. Thus, Yara’s actions irreparably damaged Margy’s campaign for city council, and even had she been elected by the People, she would have been removed from office because of Yara’s incorrect certification.
Again, the real question is why the whole thing happened in this manner. One possible answer is that Margy is not only an advocate for the People and their Rights, who has successfully advocated for the People of Las Vegas, but also is an avowed Constitutionalist, who would have taken lawful steps to require city officers and employees to strictly comply with the Constitutions and Rights guaranteed therein to the People, in the performance of their official and professional duties. Further, Margy and her husband, Jack, teach the Constitution and Citizens’ Rights guaranteed therein in seminars, workshops and lectures all over this country. They appear on national radio programs, as well as on television, throughout the Nation. It would appear logical that such an entrenched power structure, as is known to exist in Las Vegas politics, would not want people of this caliber in the city council, ruining “business as usual” and advocating for the Rights of all the People and for their just and proper treatment at the hands of government.
Margy and Jack have found, over many years of dealing with Constitutional issues in Las Vegas, that most of the police, many judges and the courts have respected the Constitutions, upheld the Rights of the People guaranteed by the Constitutions, and found favorably for the People on Constitutional issues. It is encouraging to see that some public officers actually abide by their oaths and recognize their duties, pursuant to those oaths. It is important that the People recognize such actions. In stark contrast to these honorable public servants, the city council and virtually all mayors and administrations, with which Margy and Jack have dealt, are either woefully ignorant of or obnoxiously opposed to upholding their duties mandated in the Constitutions and protecting the Rights of the People. This was clearly demonstrated when none of those in city government, from whom Margy sought administrative remedy, subsequent to the debacle caused by Yara’s false information and incorrect actions, made any effort to respond to her numerous lawful notifications to them nor to investigate and correct the reported wrongful actions.
Margy wrote several letters and affidavits to each and every member of the city council, the city administration, the city attorney and the mayor. These letters and affidavits explained, in part, the wrongdoing, on the part of Yara and the city, the fact that Margy prevailed in court, and requested that the city take appropriate actions to correct this matter and prevent it from ever happening again to any other candidate. Margy also addressed Constitutional positions that were completely ignored. When the Constitutional Rights of one Citizen are ignored or denied, then the Rights of all Citizens can also be ignored and denied. Incredibly, not one city officer or employee, so notified of the wrongdoing, responded to Margy, in any manner, whatsoever. There were no phone calls, no letters, no emails – no communication at all. This collective absence of response constituted an absolute conspiracy of silence by all those who received notification and who were in a position to take action on behalf of one of their Citizens who had been wronged by members of city government.
In today’s America, if one does not know, claim, demand and enforce his or her Rights, then he or she has none. It is important that we have a well-informed Citizenry so that government is required by the Citizens to protect their Rights and not openly disparage and deny them. Margy’s Constitutional views, had she been properly elected, would have been widely and publicly professed for the benefit of the average Las Vegas Citizen, whom, in our opinion, has been badly treated forever by its own government. Margy’s position is that the People are the true rulers who delegate certain limited authority, by and through the Constitutions, to government officers to SERVE their best interests, and not act in opposition to them. It would appear that these Constitutional positions, which are part of the founding documents of this Nation, were too much for the local political structure to deal with, so that structure found a convenient way to deny Margy a legitimate opportunity to win office and to maintain it, if she won. This type of government does not bode well for the Citizens. Too many of our brave service men and women have fought too many wars in too many foreign countries, allegedly in the name of freedom, and far too many have given their last full measure of devotion, for the People to callously abandon their own Rights and duties as Citizens, for which those brave ones died. Las Vegas and America, herself, must come together as a Sovereign People demanding proper Constitutional government for ALL the People, because it is obvious that those operating the machinery of government, both locally and nationally, have no intention of exercising proper, lawful Constitutional governance.
When it was painfully clear that not one city official would ever communicate with Margy on this matter, she filed suit against the individuals who represent the machinery of government of the City of Las Vegas and members of the New Mexico self-insurers’ fund and municipal league, who attempted to fraudulently intervene and uphold the wrongful actions and outright fraud committed by Yara and those who condoned, aided and abetted her actions. This includes all current city officials and incumbents running for city office. Please take notice that NONE of these officials and candidates were willing to uphold the Constitutions and Margy’s Rights guaranteed therein. Do you think that they will uphold your Rights or those of your family members, your children and your friends? If you have doubts or you do not think so, then, you have the Right and the duty to yourself, your family and your community to vote the bums out of office.
